Terms of Use

The Face They See (thefacetheysee.com) is run by Blake Labs Inc, a California corporation ("we" or "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Who can use the site

You must be 18 or older. Please give true details when you sign up, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

Your photos

• Only upload photos of yourself that you have the right to use.
• Do not upload photos of anyone else, photos of anyone under 18, nude or sexual photos, or anything hateful, violent or against the law.
• You still own your photos. You let us store them, show them to the people who rank them, and show them on your results and share page, only so we can run the site. This ends when you delete the photos, apart from short lived backup copies.

Ranking other people's photos

Rank honestly and treat other people's photos with respect. Do not save, copy or share photos you see while ranking. Do not use bots or scripts.

Your results

Results show the opinions of real people who ranked your photos. They are for your own information. We do not promise any outcome, such as more matches on a dating app.

Payments and refunds

• Uploading and getting rankings is free. Paid extras move your photos up in line: one skip for $10, a pack of 5 skips for $30, an unlimited skip pass for 1 year for $99, and a pass for 1 year with no ranking needed for $199. Prices are shown before you pay.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Skip credits do not expire. Free promo credits have no cash value.
• Refunds: email hello@thefacetheysee.com within 7 days of buying. We refund a skip if it has not been used to move a set up yet, and a pass if it has not been used yet.

Removing photos and closing accounts

You can delete your photos at any time, and you can close your account by emailing hello@thefacetheysee.com. We may remove photos, or pause or close an account, if it breaks these terms or puts other people at risk.

The site is provided as it is

We work to keep the site running well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, or $50 if that is more.

Law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of California.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we will also email you. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
